Wantage & Grove Church Partnership — New Secretary Needed
Part of the business of the WGCP AGM on October 5th will be to elect new officers for the Partnership.
Neil Townsend intends to stand down as chair and the church leaders are consulting about a new chair to be proposed at the meeting.
Ann Barber has kindly agreed to continue as Treasurer.
The AGM will need to elect a new secretary. I have served for 6 years and I think it will be good for the Partnership to have someone new. I have much enjoyed being secretary and would encourage anyone interested to put their name forward. My six years have been interesting and personally rewarding as I have had the privilege of meeting new friends from all the churches. If anyone wants to talk about the tasks please contact Neil Townsend or me.
