Silent retreat at Douai Abbey
Friday 6th — Sunday 8th April 2018
Organised and led by Becky Fisher and Katherine Bloomber on behalf of 'reflect' (Methodists supporting retreats and spirituality).
Set in tranquil countryside between Reading and Newbury, the Benedictine Community at Douai offers hospitality, peace, good food, sung Offices and plenty of opportunities to encounter God.
In this post Easter retreat we will use all our senses in prayer. We will walk with Jesus and hear His story. We will sit with Jesus and tell our story and we will travel the Emmaus Road together. There will be several led sessions with the time between sessions intended for you to continue with your own thoughts and prayers, so we offer each other the gift of silence — uninterrupted by mobile phones, e-mails . . .
(Cost of retreat £205).
