Our meetings for October are a below — do come along and join us.
4th Michael Bailey will show the 2nd part of his visit to Cape Town including Garden Route, meerkats and Kwandwegame reserve.
11th Tessa Lancaster will be telling us about the retail side of the Shaw Trust, a Charity for Disabled and Disadvantaged people.
18th John Race will give an illustrated talk entitled "Fun flights of an amateur pilot".
25th Julie Bunney will talk about Leckford, a property owned by Waitrose, which includes a farm, dairy, water gardens, nursery, mushroom farm.
And, on November 1st, Rev Keith Underhill will be speaking to us.

Alison B, Liz U and I enjoyed walking with members of local Baptist and Mission Chapels from the Vale on a 5 1/2 mile walk round Ardington in September. The weather was glorious and we saw some lovely views, some wildlife (including a yellowhammer). Thank you all very much for church sitting on Saturday 8 Sept. Carolyn, Gordon, Alison and I all cycled around churches and the weather conditions were good.
