In glorious sunshine and blue skies, representatives from the churches of the Wantage and Grove Church Partnership, processed from Holy Trinity Church, Charlton, to the Market Place in Wantage, on Palm Sunday accompanied by the Wantage Silver Band and Tracey, the Donkey.

Blessed by prayer and Holy water, Palm Sunday hymns were sung as we walked the route, exchanging greetings with those who waved and spoke to us and we passed by.

Our thanks to those who were responsible for organising the event and all those who took part as we recalled and remembered Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
