Our hall and chapel looked lovely on Dickensian evening with a range of trees on display from church and other local community groups. Some trees were decorated with a recyling theme and the church knit and chat group had decorated a wooden frame, made by Arnold, with knitted squares and knitted angels. The Chapel was packed in the evening when Caritas Childrens' Choir sang and raised money for Christian Aid. The hall was decorated with more trees and also some craft stalls and a cake stall. On the Saturday morning we held a coffee morning and on Sunday our morning worship was enhanced with the presence of the trees. The event raised over £572 for Street Pastors.
