"Disciple, 'Becoming Disciples through Bible study' is an intensive, 34 week, systematic Bible Study Course that will blow your socks off!"
So I wrote back in 1998 when encouraging those who became the first Disciple Group I led, to seriously think about taking part.
I still stand by those words of twenty years ago, for Disciple is by far the most important and transformative study course I have ever had the privilege of leading.
Starting in September this year, it is my intention to run Disciple once more (my fifth time of doing) and wonder if there are those who'd like to come and join me?
We will meet once a week on a Thursday morning for a 2.5 hour Bible Study from 9:30am — till 12 Noon. For the other six days of the week, participants commit themselves to reading the daily Bible passages and notes (and jotting down their responses) using the participants study manual. The amount of time needed to read the passages each day will vary but on average would be about twenty minutes or so.
Disciple is a big commitment but so too are the rewards. If you'd like to know more do have a word with me.
There will be more information over the coming weeks — this is to get you thinking and pondering if Disciple might be of interest to you!
