At District Synods this month, all around Great Britain, FHN's new pamphlets are being distributed through circuit trays — on their way to every Methodist Church.
FHN hopes that all circuits and churches will give consideration to supporting the work of FHN when they meet for their Autumn Church Council Meetings.
FHN reaches out to those in serious need and it does so in the name of all Methodists, all around the UK. Year on year, the number of applications rises steeply.
Currently, we are giving below what we would like to be giving, yet the one-off emergency payments we are able to give, of between £60 and £80, are often life-saving and life-changing.
Of those we assist, approximately 15% contact us directly.
The majority are represented by agencies operating in towns and cities around the country.
Your help will mean everything to those who need it most.
The pamphlet and website carry information on how you can give.
