Holy Habits (lite) September – November

Our next theme will be “Breaking Bread” with this being the focus of our Sundayservices on September 1st, October 13th and November 3rd.

The film we will be watching is "Of Gods and Men" (Cert 15, 2010, 2h 2m in length)

There are two books that folk can choose to read, one or both if they so wish:

The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene – 1940
The moving story of a priest who, though deeply anxious that he has been a failure,continues to administer the Mass at a time and in a place where the practice has beenbanned.
The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams – 1922.
The story of a stuffed rabbit who is on a mission to become real, or known, throughthe love of his owner – How do we discover the reality of Christ's presence in the actof breaking bread.
The book group will be meeting at Cornerstone at 10:00 am on Saturday 9thNovember.
