The London Landmarks Half Marathon

Well, the big day has come and gone, and we are pleased to say that we successfully completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of The Skye High Foundation and what an amazing day it was. The support and encouragement from the crowds was out of this world. There were almost 24,000 runners taking part and Liz and I were 16,008th and 12, 644th fastest, with times of 02:35:36 and 02:19:20 respectively – not too bad for being in our mid 60's!

On behalf of Becca, John and ourselves a huge 'thank you' to every one of you who have so generously supported us. To date we have raised a staggering, £5,680 plus £1,075 in Gift Aid – our Just Giving Page is still open -
