Peace Day

In 2022 we marked World Peace Day with a simple projection of images, words and music in our chapel for a couple of hours. In 2024 World Peace Day falls on a Saturday.

Earlier in the year, I volunteered to mark the day somehow on our premises. I am pleased to announce that Lisa Doscher (a local natural voice choir leader and song writer) and Lea Morris (a singer/songwriter) have agreed to lead a singing workshop in our hall on the afternoon of Saturday, 21 September on the theme of peace.

Tickets for the workshop are £15, which includes tea and cake. Any profits will go to Wantage and Grove Street Pastors. For more information speak to June Grunwald.

There will also be a Local Arrangement service on Sunday, 22 September on the theme of peace.
