Tuesday Afternoon House Group
We had an Easter break the first two weeks in April and met again on 17th April when Keith talked to us about Brother Lawrence's Prayers and encouraged us, if we wished, to share how and when we pray and what we found helpful He gave us details of the exciting opportunities coming up for us in our faith journey later this year and into next year. The following week we returned to the Lent Study to take a further look at the sessions.
In May we will continue to look further at the Lent Study sessions, "On the Third Day", to enable us to cover more of the wonderful material.
The details of the May dates are as follows:

This meeting includes the Monthly Prayer Meeting.
8th May – Study Session 3: 'Let Him Easter in us': personal discipleship in the light of the resurrection

We have booked to go to St. Mary's Convent on 17th July from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for a day of quiet reflection.
This year we will concentrate on Jonah following our study of this book in Bible Month in June. We start the day after registration joining the Sisters for the Eucharist Service. Although there will be a plan for the whole day, you are free to spend the day as you wish. The cost has increased this year to £20 but this is extremely good value. The cost includes morning coffee / tea and biscuits, a two course lunch, afternoon tea / coffee and cake and use of their facilities, If you are interested in joining us please let me know and I will be pleased to give you full details and answer any questions you have.
We can assure you of a very warm welcome if you would like to join us for any of our meetings. I would be delighted to talk to you if you would like to find out more about this group. We meet at 50 Warmans Close from 1:30 to 3:15 pm.
