Understanding Chaplaincy.

Who? Why? When? What? Where and How?

We are delighted that Rev'd. Robert Jones will be leading this Circuit Event on Saturday 28th Jan 2017 from 10:00am-1:00pm here at Wantage Methodist Church

Robert has a wealth of experience in the field of Chaplaincy, previously heading up all the chaplaincy work across our Connexion.

This event will be a great introduction into what Chaplaincy is all about, and we do encourage you all to come along and join in. It will be a mixture of presentation and interactive workshop.

As we prepare to take on our chaplaincy initiative at Great Western Park, Robert's presence with us will help to root our work within the rich heritage of chaplaincy that is part of our Methodist tradition.

The knitters and chatters continue to knit and some of us manage to chat on zoom. The knitted flower garlands which decorated the side gate and front railings outside our Chapel have been taken down. The Chapel looks a bit bare without them, but the garlands have found a good home and were taken to Framlands Care Home. The group have various projects on the go. Some are knitting for...
